22nd. Annual AFL Kids’ Camp Needs Nurses

UNA will be sending two to three nurses (depending on number of children registered) to the 2016 AFL Kids’ Camp this year to provide nursing care and first aid to Camp attendees.

The camp will be held August 8th to 12th at Goldeye Centre (near Nordegg) for children of union members (aged 8 to 15 years).

UNA will cover salary replacement (for LOA’s ONLY) and travel (AFL also sends busses from Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray with stops in Red Deer).

If you are interested in attending this years Camp as a Camp Nurse, please provide me with your name, Local number, contact information and a brief bio of your nursing experience (particularly paediatric experience) as soon as possible and NO LATER THAN JUNE 3, 2016 at 1630.
Paediatric ER experience, paediatric experience or experience as a Camp Nurse would be an asset.
